What RideShare provides
RideShare helps travelers with compatible travel intentions find each other and coordinate their plans. It is not a transport operator, taxi company, booking service, payment processor or insurer.
Your responsibility
You are responsible for the details of any journey you arrange, including the people you choose to meet, the transport provider, timing, meeting point and payment arrangement. Use your own judgement and follow local laws.
Respectful use
Do not use RideShare to harass, discriminate against, defraud or endanger others. Do not provide false information or use another person’s contact details without permission.
Your content
You keep ownership of the photos, profile details, travel plans, messages and other content you submit to RideShare. You must have the rights needed to share that content. Do not submit material that infringes another person’s rights or discloses their private information without permission.
By submitting content, you give RideShare a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free permission to store, reproduce, display and transmit it only as needed to operate the service, show it to the people you choose to interact with, maintain backups, and review or remove content for safety and moderation. This permission ends when the content is deleted from the service, except for copies retained for a limited period where required for legal, safety or technical reasons. You can remove your content using the app’s controls or contact us for help. RideShare does not acquire ownership of your content.
Safety
Read the RideShare safety guidance before coordinating a trip. The guidance is not a guarantee of safety, and it does not replace the precautions appropriate for your circumstances.
Payments and transport
RideShare does not collect, calculate, split or hold money for trips. It does not guarantee fares, availability, drivers or the quality of any third-party transport service.
